As an Intake Support Officer with The Orange Door, you will play a critical role in supporting a service that responds to family violence, child wellbeing and family support concerns. Your work behind the scenes will help ensure people are connected to the right support at the right time, contributing to safer families and stronger communities.
As an Intake Support Officer, you will:
- Review, process and register referrals and sensitive client information accurately within the Hub Client Relationship Management system.
- Liaise with professionals to confirm the acceptance of referrals, gather additional information and respond to information-sharing requests.
- Work collaboratively with team leaders, practitioners and partner organisations to prioritise referrals and support intake and duty teams.
- Provide high-quality administrative support, including maintaining client records, monitoring brokerage processes and coordinating invoice payments.
Position Details
- Part time, ongoing position
- 0.6 FTE working 22.8 hours across Monday, Thursday & Friday.
- $92,496 (pro-rata) p/a + Super & Salary Packaging
What We’re Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology or a relevant discipline or working towards a qualification.
- Strong experience in an administrative support role, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a high level of organisational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
