Queensland Cardiology is a busy private Cardiology clinic based in Chermside, Brisbane. We are looking for a Medical Receptionist that is passionate about providing excellent patient care to join our team.

About the role

The successful candidate would participate in a roster with early shifts commencing at 7.15am and late shifts finishing at 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the practice as part of a team ensuring that all patients are provided with the highest level of customer service.

We are looking for a hard working energetic and passionate Medical administrative team member

Key responsibilities

- Dealing with telephone enquiries and bookings

- Organising our Doctors' consultations and procedures

- Communicating with patients on arrival and departure

- Scheduling patient appointments

- Manage patient invoicing and receipting

- Booking inpatient procedures

Other administrative duties as required

The successful candidate will have:

- Excellent customer service skills, including a polite telephone manner

- Professional presentation

- Proactive attitude and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask

- The ability to work within a busy team environment

- Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Windows environment, Medical Software (practice currently uses Shexie), Medicare and third party accounts would be an advantage, however is not essential as training would be provided to the right candidate.

- Australian citizenship is required for this position

- Completion of Year 10 education is required

Previous reception work in a medical practice would be advantageous, however candidates with a background in reception work are encouraged to apply.
