An opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Officer to join our Finance team on a permanent part time basis, working 2 days per week. The days in the office will need to be Monday and Tuesday to align with our payroll run. There may be the occasional requirement to do extra hours on demand. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the payroll function for our multidisciplinary private hospital.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with the end-to-end processing of the fortnightly payroll for 350 staff
- Maintenance of Lakeview's time & attendance and payroll systems
- Act as the point of contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees
- Data Entry of amendment transactions and back payments
- Processing of new starters and terminations
- Preparation of payroll-related reports
- Liaising with executive management and HR
About you
- A minimum of 3 years' end-to-end payroll processing experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
- Knowledge of the industrial awards for nursing and health support staff desirable
- Experience with TimeTarget and Sage Micropay will be highly regarded, as well as experience working in a Hospital or health industry-based company
