About the Role

This full-time position, split between student transport and administrative/college support services plays a vital role in our daily operations. You will ensure secure, reliable transport for our students on school routes and excursions, while providing valuable administrative assistance to keep our College bus fleet running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate College buses safely and efficiently for student pick-ups, drop-offs, and excursion transport (up to 15 hours per week).

- Perform daily vehicle safety checks, log maintenance records, and maintain clean fleet conditions.

- Provide dynamic administrative and operational support to the Transport Department and College staff (includes rostering, training, and Transport accreditation for all drivers).

- Model Christian values and maintain positive, respectful relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Key Requirements

- Faith & Ethos: Active local church involvement and alignment with CalCC’s Statement of Faith.

- Qualifications:



Valid Driver’s Licence with appropriate Heavy Vehicle / Bus endorsement (e.g., Medium Rigid / MR licence or equivalent) and QLD Driver Authorization (or willingness to obtain); valid QLD ‘Paid’ Working with Children Check (Blue Card); First Aid & CPR certificates.

- Skills: Strong driving record, sound administrative and computer skills, excellent communication, and strong time management.
