About the Role
As a People & Culture Business Partner at Rennie Advisory, you will work closely with our Chief People Officer, Directors and leaders across the business to support the delivery of our people strategy.
This is a broad role spanning both HR Business Partnering and Organisational Development, giving you the opportunity to strengthen your commercial partnering capability while building experience across performance, leadership, employee experience, engagement, recognition and broader people initiatives.
You will act as a trusted day-to-day partner to leaders while also contributing to projects that shape how our people strategy comes to life across the business.
The role will include:
- HR Business Partnering: Recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, remuneration and promotion processes, policy implementation and employee lifecycle activity.
- Leader support: Coaching leaders through people matters, providing practical advice and building strong relationships across the business.
- Performance & capability: Supporting the delivery and ongoing development of our performance framework, leadership initiatives and learning programs.
- Employee experience & engagement: Turning employee feedback into meaningful action and contributing to engagement, reward and recognition initiatives.
- Workforce planning: Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and broader organisational development priorities.
- People projects: Contributing to people, communication and change initiatives across the business.
You will also have exposure to our Malaysian operations, providing valuable experience working across different markets and jurisdictions.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded People & Culture professional who has built strong HR foundations and is ready to broaden their experience.
This role offers genuine exposure across both business partnering and organisational development. You will work closely with senior leaders,
take ownership of meaningful work and be supported to continue building your judgement, confidence and capability.
Rather than being heavily focused on HR administration, the role is designed to give you exposure to the broader people agenda and the chance to contribute to initiatives that have a visible impact across the organisation.
For someone looking to accelerate their P&C; career, there is significant scope to grow with the role.
Experience & Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates with:
- HR generalist experience: Approximately five or more years of experience across areas such as employee relations, performance management, recruitment and the employee lifecycle.
- Business partnering capability: Confidence working directly with leaders, providing advice and building trusted relationships.
- Organisational development exposure: Experience or an interest in areas such as learning and development, employee engagement, performance, organisational development, reward and recognition or workforce planning.
- Strong judgement: The ability to work independently, make considered decisions and recognise when matters require escalation.
- A proactive approach: Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to take ownership and learn quickly.
- Commercial thinking: The ability to balance the detail of HR with the broader needs and priorities of the business.
- A collaborative mindset: A practical, team-oriented approach and an interest in turning ideas into initiatives that work.
You do not need to have deep experience across every area from day one.
We are looking for someone with strong foundations, sound judgement and the ambition to continue developing their career across the full breadth of People & Culture.
