About the role

We are seeking a skilled SheetMetal Worker to join our dynamic manufacturing team at AVRO SheetMetal in South Albury, NSW. As a SheetMetal Worker, you will play a crucial role in the production and fabrication of high-quality metal components and assemblies. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the success of our growing company.

What you'll be doing

- Operate and maintain a variety of sheetmetal machinery, including press brakes, guillotines, and metal-cutting equipment

- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication

- Perform precision metal cutting, bending, forming, and welding tasks to produce high-quality components

- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes

- Maintain a secure and organised work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures

- Assist with the packing and preparation of finished products for delivery

What we're looking for

- Eager to Learn and work as part of the team.

- Proficient in the use of sheetmetal machinery, including press brakes, guillotines, and metal-cutting tools





- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety procedures

- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in sheetmetal fabrication or welding
