AAA Pet Resort Gold Coast is looking for an experienced Doggy Daycare Attendant to join our Gold Coast team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely understands canine behaviour and has experience safely supervising groups of dogs within a professional daycare environment.

About the role

You will be responsible for creating a safe, structured and enjoyable daycare experience for the fur babies in our care. Your day will include:

- Safely supervising daycare playgroups

- Assessing behaviour and recognising changes in body language

- Matching fur babies to suitable playgroups

- Managing group dynamics and preventing incidents before they occur

- Providing structured play, exercise and enrichment activities

- Monitoring the health, comfort and wellbeing of every fur baby

- Maintaining clean and hygienic daycare areas

- Communicating clearly with management, team members and pet parents

- Following all safety, cleaning and animal-care procedures

Essential experience

Applicants must have:

- A minimum of two years’ experience working in a qualified doggy daycare facility

- Strong knowledge of canine behaviour and body language

- Proven experience safely managing groups of dogs

- Confidence handling dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments

- The ability to identify stress, fear,



overstimulation and unsafe play

- A calm, confident and proactive approach

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- A high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail

- The physical fitness required for an active, hands-on role

Please note that owning dogs, pet sitting, dog walking or general animal experience alone does not meet the experience requirement for this position. Applicants must have at least two years of direct experience working within a doggy daycare facility.
