About the Role:
The position's primary purpose is the planning, coordination and delivery of engaging, accessible and high-quality training programs for internal staff and stakeholders supporting the implementation of Funding and Disclosure Reform. There may well be a need for delivering external learning and development opportunities to external stakeholders as/if the need arises.
- Deliver engaging instructor-led training sessions, workshops, briefings and information sessions to internal staff and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate both virtual and face-to-face learning activities, adapting delivery approaches to meet audience needs and operational requirements.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation, discussion, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to understand policy, regulatory, operational and system changes and accurately communicate these concepts during training delivery.
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, learner communications, attendance management, venue or virtual platform readiness, and training support activities.
- Assess participant understanding throughout training sessions and adjust facilitation techniques accordingly to support learning outcomes.
- Gather, analyse and report on participant feedback and training outcomes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training delivery and recommend enhancements to learning approaches,
resources and learner support mechanisms.
Skills and Experience Required:
- - Demonstrated experience facilitating engaging instructor-led training, workshops or capability development programs.
- Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience delivering learning in both virtual and face-to-face environments.
- Ability to explain complex policy, legislative, business process or system information to diverse audiences.
- Experience evaluating training effectiveness and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Solid organisational skills, including coordinating multiple training activities and stakeholder requirements.
Location and Contract Term: This role is ACT based . Contract till 30 June 2027 with 1 x 12 - month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance
