Our ventures include a ~$2.3B property portfolio and hotel management, just to name a few. Once you’re in, there’s no limits on where your career could take you.

We’re seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Business Development Manager to champion the hotel’s growth and build new business. In this pivotal role, you will actively promote the hotel in the market and drive long lasting relationships. You’ll maximise revenue by identifying opportunities, driving sales conversion, and executing effective business development and account management strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans in partnership with the sales team and GM, targeting new corporate, association, entertainment,

and conference/event business to drive sustained revenue growth.
- Proactively source and convert new business leads through networking, industry events, direct outreach, and leveraging professional relationships to strategically reposition the hotel in the market.
- Engage prospects through phone, face‑to‑face meetings, site inspections, famils, and tailored proposals—negotiating optimal rates within hotel guidelines to maximise conversion.
- Manage end‑to‑end sales activities including qualification, proposal creation, contracting, and seamless handover to reservations, ensuring CRM accuracy and full visibility across all opportunities.
- Build, nurture, and expand strong relationships with key accounts, industry partners, PCOs, and EVT properties to drive account growth, win back lost business, and create long‑term commercial value.
- Represent the hotel at conferences, events, meetings, and industry engagements to increase visibility, generate leads, and strengthen the hotel’s competitive position.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue, Reservations, and internal departments to align on pricing strategies, implement new business, deliver exceptional experiences, and support accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Contribute to a high‑performing Sales culture by meeting budget and KPI targets, providing mentoring to colleagues, maintaining strong cross‑department relationships, and upholding company standards and procedures.

What You’ll Bring

- Proven ability to drive new business and deliver revenue growth across rooms, conferences, and events, with a solid understanding of market segments and pricing strategies.

- Experience contributing to and executing hotel sales plans, including accurate reporting, forecasting, and participation in pipeline‑driven sales meetings.
- Demonstrated success managing key accounts—developing account plans, reviewing performance, nurturing relationships, and growing account revenue.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to prepare RFPs, meet budgets, and achieve KPIs such as call activity, conversion, and new business targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining professional, respectful interactions.
- Highly organised and detail‑driven, ensuring CRM accuracy, adherence to standard operating procedures, and effective collaboration across hotel departments.
