Geraldton Transport is a family-operated transport business. Our Perth Depot in Kewdale is looking for a forklift operator with experience in a busy transport depot to join our freight handling team in Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive, sort and handle freight appropriately

· Unload and load trucks for delivery so that freight is secure and safe and loaded in accordance with mass management and load restraint requirements

· Inspect loads for damage or issues and ensure packaging requirements are complied with in handling and storing freight

· Comply with pallet management and control procedures

· Complete delivery paperwork

· Robust commitment to safety, punctuality, and care of equipment

· Great customer service, representing Geraldton Transport professionally

Skills & Experience

· Valid forklift license with previous experience as a forklift operator

· Safety-focused with the ability to follow procedures

· Ability to pass drug and alcohol tests

· Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for the role

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
