About the role

We are seeking experienced Vehicle Technicians to join our team at Tropical Auto Group Rockhampton, Queensland. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in automotive repairs and maintenance, and contribute to the ongoing success of our thriving business.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle makes and models

2. Carry out scheduled maintenance services to the highest standard

3. Test and inspect vehicle systems and components to identify and resolve faults

4. Use the latest diagnostic equipment and tools to efficiently complete tasks

5. Document all work performed and maintain detailed records

6. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth workshop operations

What we're looking for

1. Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics

2. Working experience as a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician

3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

4. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

5. Good communication skills

6.



A keen interest in the latest automotive technologies

7. A current driver's license and your own tools
