Collins operates a large fleet of refrigerated vans and tautliners, delivering both interstate linehaul services and local distribution of frozen, chilled, perishable and general goods.
Your role will focus on warehouse picking and loading activities and will include:
- Locating and retrieving palletised freight from warehouse lanes using a forklift
- Transporting freight to designated loading and staging areas
- Conducting freight checks to ensure accuracy against loading requirements
- Loading refrigerated trailers and tautliner trailers safely and efficiently
- Applying correct labels and load documentation to freight prior to dispatch
- Undertaking safe and effective restraint and storage of freight as required
- Using forklift to move products across ambient, chilled, cold and frozen storage areas
- Operating equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Identifying and escalating food safety & quality issues, hazards and risks
- Comfortable working in chilled and freezer environments
- Experience with palletised freight (preferred)
- Ability to adhere to WHS and Safety Regulations
