About the role

As HVAC, Refrigeration & Service Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering HVAC, refrigeration, service and maintenance works while maintaining strong control over safety, quality, programme, customer service and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

- Managing HVAC and refrigeration projects from planning through to completion

- Overseeing service and maintenance operations

- Coordinating planned and preventative maintenance programmes

- Managing reactive maintenance and breakdown works

- Developing project programmes, budgets and delivery plans

- Scheduling and coordinating technicians, tradespeople, subcontractors and suppliers

- Monitoring project costs, labour, materials, variations and margins

- Managing procurement of equipment, materials and subcontracted services





- Reviewing drawings, specifications, scopes of work and service requirements

- Managing client communication, progress meetings and service requirements

About you

- Demonstrated experience managing HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical services or service operations

- Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, servicing, maintenance and commissioning

- Experience managing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance programmes

- Experience managing project budgets, labour, subcontractors and suppliers

- Solid commercial awareness and understanding of project and service profitability

- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, scopes and contractual documentation

- Strong planning, scheduling, organisation and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and quality service delivery

- Current Australian driver's licence
