We are looking for a confident, personable and motivated Lighting Sales Consultant to join our team. This is a diverse position suited to someone who enjoys helping customers, has a genuine interest in lighting and interiors, and is comfortable working across showroom, telephone and online sales.
About the role
You will assist retail and trade customers with selecting suitable lighting products while managing enquiries from the initial conversation through to quotation, follow-up and sale.
Your responsibilities will include:
Welcoming showroom customers and providing knowledgeable, qualified assistance
Understanding customers’ needs and recommending suitable lighting solutions
Selling to customers in the showroom and over the telephone
Handling a high volume of telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently
Responding to customer and trade enquiries by email
Preparing accurate quotations and following up outstanding quotes
Processing sales, orders and customer payments
Developing solid knowledge of our products, brands and suppliers
Maintaining showroom presentation and assisting with display merchandising
Checking product availability and communicating with suppliers
Building lasting relationships with homeowners and trade customers
