FTE REQUIREMENT – DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER

Role: Desktop Support Engineer
Location: Level 21, 420 George Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia
Work Model: Monday to Friday – Onsite
Contract Duration: 1 Year – Extendable Permanent
Salary: AUD 60,000 per annum

Job Responsibilities
Provide onsite Level 1/Level 2 Desktop Support.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, and peripheral issues.
Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.
Provide user support and resolve desktop-related incidents and service requests.
Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business applications.
Support user accounts, Active Directory, password resets, and access-related issues.
Assist with device deployment, configuration, replacement, and maintenance.
Perform basic LAN, Wi-Fi, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Update and manage incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
Provide transparent onsite updates, resolution details, and ticket closure notes.





Requirements
Previous experience in Desktop Support / IT Support.
Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, Windows, and peripherals.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
Good communication and customer-facing skills.
Ability to work independently in an onsite workplace.
Qualified approach with strong problem-solving skills.
Must be available to work Monday to Friday onsite in Sydney.
Australian work rights are preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
