Casual Visual Merchandiser – Toys, Collectibles & Gifts

We’re looking for a creative and experienced Visual Merchandiser to help us refresh and improve the presentation of our toy and collectibles store at Pacific Werribee.

Our range includes plush toys, blind boxes, collectibles, trading cards, educational toys, gifts and other trending products. We already have our fixtures and stock — we need someone who knows how to make them look great.

The Role

You’ll work hands-on in store to:

Create attractive, well-balanced product displays

Group products and collections effectively

Use height, layering, risers, colour and spacing to make displays stand out

Improve our centre displays, shelving and front-of-store presentation

Make smaller quantities of stock look intentional and appealing

Regularly refresh displays as recent products arrive

Identify simple, affordable ways to improve presentation using our existing fixtures and lighting

Create a display system that our retail team can easily maintain

Work with our team and show them how products should be presented

Who We're Looking For





You don’t necessarily need years of management experience, but you must have a valuable eye for retail presentation and previous visual merchandising experience.

Experience in toys, gifts, lifestyle, kids, collectibles or similar specialty retail would be particularly valuable.

We’d love someone who can walk into a space, see what isn’t working and confidently rearrange it — rather than simply filling shelves with stock.

Hours & Pay

Casual / flexible schedule

Initially approximately 5–8 hours for a store refresh, with the possibility of ongoing casual merchandising work.

Approx. $35–$40 per hour, depending on experience and employment arrangements.
