We are looking for someone that can operate the pizza section as well as run the main kitchen (involving prep work and general chef duties) to their highest standard and work comfortably in a busy setting.
Two wood fired ovens that are at the heart of the space, our food revolves heavily around these and a menu that highlights them - with pizza being a major part of the food offering.
The food offering is easy, produce driven and progressive.
The space can seat up to 75 at full capacity with a front bar, booths, back courtyard and middle dining room

About You

Experience is essential so you will have at least 2+ years experience as a Pizza Chef and/or Chef or similar role. In addition you will have:




Knowledge of Woodfire Ovens
Hand stretching skills
Creativity for menu development - not just limited to pizzas
Exceptional communication and immaculate presentation
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a team
Demonstrate positive attitude and genuine interest in the day to day operations
Understanding of Hygiene, Food Safety and OH&S; standards and compliance
Experience in effectively maintaining and managing set ups, changeovers, closedown and handover to high standards
Excellent attention to detail
Outstanding time management during preparation and service periods
Calm and composed demeanour and ability to work well in a fast-paced setting
