Drift is located in Devonport, Tasmania. Our venue is situated right on ‘Bluff Beach’- a short tennis ball throw away from crashing waves and incredible views over the headland.

At Drift we are passionate about creating excellent dining experiences for our guests and providing a relaxed beachside atmosphere for both locals and tourists to come together with family and friends. Our 7 day breakfast/lunch menu utilises some amazing Tassie produce and we love working with fresh, local ingredients.

We have a position available as a part of our kitchen team for immediate start. Hours for this position can be tailored to suit the applicant- happy for someone to come on board full time or can negotiate weekly hours for the right candidate.

Your role
Working in rapid paced daily breakfast+lunch services and completing a high standard of prep work between service
Delivering menu items to a high standard consistently with the support of our kitchen management team
Communicating effectively with the front-of-house team members to give a memorable customer experience





What you'll need to succeed
Demonstrated experience as a breakfast/cafe chef or experienced cook in a busy environment
Meticulous attention to detail and an understanding of the need for consistently high levels of presentation and prep work
Be committed to cleanliness and have an exceptional understanding of food safety standards and the dietary needs of our customers
