About the role

The Paraplanner is a key member of the Advice & Paraplanning Team, responsible for the end-to-end preparation of Statements of Advice (SOAs) for the firm's Private Wealth Advisers. This role requires a high level of technical competence across superannuation, investments, insurance, retirement planning, SMSF, and estate planning strategies. The Paraplanner works with a high degree of autonomy, preparing compliant and client-ready advice documents with minimal supervision while ensuring all outputs meet the firm's quality, compliance, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities
Prepare comprehensive, compliant Statements of Advice (SOAs) across superannuation, investments, insurance, retirement planning, SMSF, and estate planning strategies.
Conduct financial modelling, scenario analysis, and cashflow projections to support advice recommendations.
Ensure all advice documents are accurate, compliant.
Prepare alternative strategy comparisons, risk profiles, and fee disclosure documentation as required.
Manage concurrent SOA preparation across multiple advisers and clients,



meeting agreed deadlines.
Research and analyse superannuation, insurance, investment, social security, aged care, and SMSF strategies to support adviser recommendations.

About you
Advanced Diploma of Paraplanning, Diploma of Financial Planning, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3–5 years of paraplanning experience supporting Australian financial advisers.
Demonstrated experience preparing SOAs and ROAs across a broad range of financial planning strategies.
Robust working knowledge of Australian superannuation, insurance, and investment regulatory frameworks.
Experience with AdviserLogic and related financial planning software.
Advanced technical knowledge across superannuation, investments, insurance, retirement planning, SMSF, and estate planning.
Advanced financial modelling and cashflow projection skills.
Robust written communication skills with the ability to present complex strategies in explicit, client-friendly language.
