We are currently looking for someone who can commit to 2–3 active overnight shifts per week.

During active overnight shifts, one Support Worker provides support to both participants, following their individual overnight routines and care requirements.

There will also be the chance to be trained in both participants’ day routines, with the potential to pick up day shifts in the future.
2–3 active overnight shifts per week
Chance for additional shifts when available
Potential day shifts once fully trained
Comprehensive on-the-job training provided
Use of customised equipment, including wheelchairs, hoists, specialised beds and accessible vehicles
Supportive team of approximately 10 - 12 Support Workers, supervised by a Team Leader
Weekend shifts shared across the team
Start date ASAP or negotiable

Applicant requirements




Ideally located within approximately 30 minutes of Ferny Grove
Reliable availability for 2–3 active overnight shifts per week
NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one
Physically capable of performing the requirements of the role, including manual handling
Unrestricted Australian Driver Licence
Reliable mobile phone
Current First Aid & CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them
Disability support experience is an advantage, but not essential
Caring, reliable, willing to learn and comfortable working independently overnight as well as part of a team

Experience is a plus, but finding the right person is more significant to us.
