Chef – Part-Time

Refuel Hub is looking for a capable and motivated Part time Chef to join our kitchen team at our all-day breakfast café in Ballarat Central.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently work in a busy café kitchen, maintain consistency and quality, and work well as part of a small team.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking breakfast and café-style meals
Managing your section during busy service periods
Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
Completing food preparation and kitchen setup
Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning requirements
Assisting with stock rotation and minimising food wastage
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team

About You

We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a chef or experienced cook
Is confident working in a fast-paced café kitchen
Has strong food preparation and time-management skills
Understands food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
Is reliable, organised and able to work independently when required
Is available across weekdays and weekends as required

Timings

07:45 am to 02:00 pm
