The Ramada Hotel in Cabramatta is currently seeking an experienced chef to join our team on a full-time basis at our hotel restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meat, produce, gaming food prep, and managing functions. It is essential for applicants to have expertise in cooking from scratch. Key qualifications and attributes we are looking for include: - A genuine passion for creating exceptional cuisine. - The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - A comprehensive understanding of all kitchen processes and activities. All candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends on a rotating roster, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner services. It is also necessary for applicants to have their own transportation. Minimum requirements for this role include: - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a bistro setting. - Expertise in grilling.



- Proficiency in working across all kitchen sections. - The ability to perform well under pressure. - Solid leadership skills. - Excellent knife skills. - Experience in pizza preparation. - Knowledge of bulk meat production, including raw meat butchery. - A quick learner, capable of quickly familiarizing themselves with our menu, prepping ingredients, and opening and closing the kitchen. - The ability to work independently and unsupervised.
