Maxima are seeking experienced Horticulture / Garden Maintenance Operators to join our team working with our Local Government clients in their grounds and public spaces teams.

We have casual positions available across North, South, East and West areas, with both short-term and long-term opportunities available for reliable, experienced candidates.

The Role
You will be responsible for a range of horticultural and grounds maintenance duties, including:
Mowing and lawn maintenance (Front Deck mower experience Essential)
Whipper snipping / edging
Hedging and pruning
Brush cutting
General labouring and grounds maintenance
Irrigation maintenance and repairs (desirable)
General upkeep of parks, gardens and public areas

About You
To be successful, you will have:
Previous horticulture, gardening or grounds maintenance experience (Essential)
MR Truck Licence (Essential)
Experience operating mowing and grounds maintenance equipment
Current National Police Clearance, or be willing and able to obtain one
Be willing and able to successfully pass a pre-employment medical
A solid work ethic and reliable attendance




The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive understanding of workplace health and safety
Irrigation experience (Desirable)
A professional attitude and commitment to quality workmanship

What We Offer
$40–$50 per hour, depending on experience and role.

9-day fortnight
