The Rose and Crown Hotel is looking for a passionate and reliable Larder chef to join our busy kitchen team at a well established pub. You'll be responsible for the smooth running of the larder section, preparing fresh specials, cold and hot entrees and desserts while maintaining consistently high standards and operate daily kitchen services. Assist with menu planning, daily specials and portion controls.

Previous experience in a busy venue.

The right candidate must be trade qualified and have qualifications in kitchen management or hospitality and year of work experience OR 3 years of work experience in a related field.

Ability to deliver exceptional and consistent food to guests

Strong food preparation and presentation skills

Lead kitchen activities incl stock control and hygiene compliance

Maintaining kitchen cleanliness,



hygiene and adhere to inhouse policies and procedures and legislative requirements

Follow directions and work in a team as well as work autonomously

Supervise and mentor junior members of the team when required

Prepare, cook and present food inline with menu specifications and standards.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
