This is a full time position combining rental property gas safety checks, Type A gas appliance servicing and general plumbing maintenance. You will work primarily across residential rental properties managed by Property Management clients.
Key responsibilities
Conduct rental property Gas Safety Checks
Service and test Type A gas appliances
Conduct carbon monoxide (CO), combustion and spillage testing where required
Diagnose and repair gas appliance faults
Gas cooktop and gas appliance installation/replacement
Gas leak investigation and gas tightness testing
Hot water system servicing, repair and replacement
General plumbing maintenance and repairs
Toilet, tap, shower and water leak repairs
Drainage and blocked drain works
About you
Current Victorian Plumbing Licence
Licensed/qualified in Gasfitting
Type A Appliance Servicing endorsement – essential
Experience completing Victorian rental property Gas Safety Checks
Solid knowledge of AS/NZS 5601 and AS 4575
Confident with CO testing, spillage testing and gas appliance servicing
Able to independently diagnose gas and general plumbing faults
Current Victorian Driver Licence
White Card
Positive communication and job reporting skills
