Chef - Casual

$36.82 Per Hour inclusive of 25% Casual Loading + 12% Superannuation
n Broken Bay Sport and Rec Centre, Hawksbury River NSW

Roster: Predominately Monday to Friday across two shifts from 7am to 3pm or 10:30am to 7:30pm
n

THE POSITION

Assisting and oversee the preparation, cooking and presentation ensuring that the food you offer at the site is delivered to an exceptional standard across our menus and daily specials
n
Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
n




Championing the significance of allergy awareness and ensuring controls are adhered to
n
Influencing food costs via portion control, waste minimisation & stock control
n
Ensure the secure production of a high-quality product without comprise to the food safety guidelines provided
n

THE PERSON

n

n
Chef's Trade Qualifications
n
An understanding of Café style food
n
Ability to work within budgets
n
A comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations and exciting latest food trends
n
Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate to juniors & senior members of staff
n
An applied knowledge and passion for understanding OHS, Food Safety & HACCP regulations
n
Willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check and the National Police Check
n
