We are seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman / Carpenter to complete residential repair, maintenance and improvement jobs throughout Melbourne’s inner suburbs. We’re looking for someone with solid carpentry experience who is comfortable working independently and can confidently diagnose problems and determine the appropriate repair on site. Typical work may include repairing and installing doors, locks and handles, adjusting hinges and sliding doors, replacing skirting boards and architraves, timber repairs, cabinetry and shelving, fence and gate repairs, plaster patching and sheet replacement, minor painting and finishing, installing fixtures, mounting mirrors and pictures, and other general household maintenance and carpentry tasks.
The right person will have positive attention to detail,
take pride in producing a neat finished result and be capable of completing a variety of smaller jobs efficiently throughout the day. You’ll be dealing directly with residential customers, so reliability, punctuality and qualified communication are important. Applicants should have their own tools and equipment, suitable transport and the experience necessary to attend jobs without requiring constant supervision.

Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
