E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. Working as part of an autonomous E-ppl team under an outcomes-based package of work, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Servicing:Carry out diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated vehicle platforms.

Rectification & Prep:Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and full compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
n
Fleet Upgrades:Bring vehicles up to required operational standards.
n
Quality Assurance:Execute reworks and rectify defects identified during examination stages.
n
Safety First:Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times.
n
Security Clearance:Must be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks. E-ppl will fully sponsor and manage this process.

Experience:Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet experience is highly desirable).
n
Qualifications:Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
n
Skills:Solid diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking.
n
PPE:Ability to provide your own standard coveralls and safety footwear.

Competitive Pay:

£19.00 per hour
n
Working Pattern:
n
39 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for overtime and shift variations as needed
n
Daily Allowance:
n
£25.00 tax-free per day to cover expenses and meals(location-dependent)
n
Hotel Lodging:
n
Fully funded hotel accommodation provided(location-dependent)

Travel Expense:
n
45p per mile mileage allowance, calculated from your location(capped up to the Evo-to-Stockport route)
