Event Coordinator – Botanical Events Moorabbin, Melbourne Full-time

Botanical Events is growing, and we’re looking for an organised, friendly, and creative Event Coordinator to join our team. If you love plants and flowers, thrive in a rapid‑paced environment, and enjoy bringing beautiful event concepts to life, this role is for you.

We design and deliver botanical & floral installations, plant styling, and live plants across Melbourne. You’ll be part of a supportive, fun team that values creativity, reliability, and outstanding communication.

About the Role As our Event Coordinator, you’ll help plan, prepare, and deliver plant‑based event designs for weddings, corporate events, activations, and private functions. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director and operations team to ensure every event runs smoothly and looks incredible.

This role blends hands-on event work, client coordination, and creative problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate event logistics, timelines, and installation schedules
Communicate with clients, venues, suppliers, and internal team members
Assist with creative planning, styling concepts, and plant/flower selections
Prepare, pack, and organise materials for event setups




Lead or support onsite installations and pack-downs
Maintain accurate documentation, run sheets, and inventory notes
Ensure all events meet Botanical Events’ quality and styling standards
Support general studio organisation and plant care as needed

What We’re Looking For
A genuine love of plants, flowers, and creative settings
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Friendly, positive communication style
Ability to work efficiently under time pressure
Comfortable with hands-on physical work during event setups
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Reliability, punctuality, and a team-first attitude
Experience in events, floristry, styling, or hospitality is a bonus but not essential

Requirements
Current driver’s licence (manual not required)
Ability to lift and move plants, pots, and styling items
Availability for occasional early starts, late finishes, or weekend events
Australian work rights
