Behaviour Support Practitioner – Service Lead - Newcastle & Hunter Region

Are you an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner looking for a leadership role where you can make a meaningful impact?

We’re working with a growing care provider supporting people across the Hunter, Newcastle and Maitland region.

Permanent full-time, Monday–Friday with no weekends or after-hours

The roleAs a Behaviour Support Practitioner – Service Lead, you’ll provide clinical and operational leadership while continuing to contribute to high-quality,



evidence-based Behaviour Support.
You’ll be responsible for:
Developing and implementing evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans
Streamlining the rservice in line with NDIS guidelines
Providing leadership, operational and clinical support to direct reports
Working collaboratively with OTs, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and RNs
Supporting staff training

Selection CriteriaWe’re looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who is ready to step into a leadership role and contribute to the growth of Behaviour Support services.
You’ll ideally bring:
NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner status at Proficient level or above
At least 4 years’ clinical experience
A related qualification in Psychology,OT, Social Work or Nursing
A current driver’s licence
Solid communication and collaboration skills
