Role Description The Commercial Property Consultant is a full time role based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes both in-office and work-from-home days. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing commercial property risks, preparing and pricing underwriting proposals, and recommending appropriate insurance solutions for brokers and their clients. The role involves managing a portfolio of commercial property accounts, responding to broker inquiries, and ensuring timely, accurate policy documentation.

The consultant will collaborate with internal underwriting, operations, and claims teams to maintain service standards and support product development. Regular duties also include analyzing market trends,



contributing to broker relationship management activities, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and coverage offerings.

Qualifications
Experience in commercial property insurance or underwriting, with strong risk assessment and policy interpretation skills.
Background in broker or client relationship management, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally.
Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to detail in documentation, pricing, and portfolio management.
Proficiency with insurance systems, CRM tools, and standard office software, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
Knowledge of the Australian commercial insurance market and regulatory environment, particularly in property and SME sectors.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented team, including in a hybrid work setting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, deadlines, and broker requests.
Relevant qualifications in insurance, business, finance, or a related field; professional insurance certifications are an advantage.
