C3Talent has partnered with a growing profit-for-purpose organisation to recruit an exciting, hands-on Accountant prospect.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a broad role combining month-end accounting, management reporting, financial analysis, systems improvement and stakeholder engagement. You'll work closely with a national franchise network, providing financial support and helping improve the systems and processes that underpin the organisation.

The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Month-end accounting, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
Management reporting, financial analysis and insights
Preparing and lodging BAS
Supporting AP, AR and payroll processes
Responding to financial queries and supporting franchise owners
Identifying opportunities to improve and automate finance processes
Supporting and optimising finance and operational systems




Working closely with the CFO on projects and continuous improvement initiatives

About You
You will ideally have:
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
3+ years' accounting experience
CPA/CA qualification or studying towards is highly regarded
Robust month-end, reconciliation and reporting experience
Strong Excel and systems capability, with Xero advantageous
An interest in process improvement and automation
Confident communication skills and the ability to work with non-finance stakeholders
Franchise, multi-site or service-based experience would be advantageous
