The Opportunity
Our client, a leading high-volume fashion retailer, is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to step into a 2IC role within their Marketing team.
This is a senior position reporting into the Head of Department, leading a large social media team and stepping up to support the Head of Department when required. You'll be strategic and hands-on — close to content, shoots, analytics and trends, while gaining genuine exposure to senior leaders and Directors across the business.
Team & Structure
Social media team of approximately 15–20 people
Direct exposure to senior leadership and Directors
Solid pathway for leadership growth
Working Arrangements
5 days per week in the office, Brisbane CBD
Salary: $100K–$120K + Super, depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES +
Support photoshoots and content production (shoots run roughly weekly, typically Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast)
Drive social media strategy and analytics
Stay highly in-tune with social and content trends
Lead and support a team, with 2 direct reports
Operate confidently within a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Step up to support the Head of Department during periods of leave
REQUIREMENTS +
Strong, high-level experience as a Social Media Manager, ideally within fast fashion or another high-volume consumer workplace
Confident leading and developing a team
Strategically solid but still hands-on with content, shoots and analytics
Comfortable operating in a leadership environment and working with senior stakeholders
Solid understanding of the broader marketing function
