Summary:

As a Room Leader in the Education & Training sector, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. Based in Moranbah, Queensland, this permanent full-time position requires a dedicated professional who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to the development and well-being of young learners. You will lead a team, ensuring high standards of care and education while collaborating with families and the community to support children’s growth.

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of educators, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality educational practices.
Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate learning programs that cater to the individual needs of children.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and the community to promote a supportive learning environment.
Monitor and assess children’s development, maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to families.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and organisational policies,



maintaining a safe and healthy setting.
Facilitate career development prospects for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with other professionals and stakeholders to support children’s holistic development.

Qualifications:
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent).
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and staff.
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Current First Aid and CPR certification, along with a Working with Children Check.
