Job Description

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and capable Maintenance Officer to join our team to support and maintain our Mt Gravatt facility.

Key responsibilities

Perform various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects
n
Manage projects within set time frames with minimal supervision
n
Demonstrate solid interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to respectfully interact with residents, families, colleagues, and contractors
n
Work independently and collaboratively within a team
n
Exhibit problem-solving skills and attention to detail
n
Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
n

About you

n

n
Competence in performing various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects
n
Previous hands-on experience in handyman, commercial maintenance, building, or construction industries
n
Skills in carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering, labouring,



property maintenance, or handyman tasks
n
Experience in facility maintenance
n
Possession of a White Card is advantageous
n
Successful completion of a Police Check is required
n
A satisfactory Police Clearance Certificate is required as per the Aged Care Act 1997
n
