We are seeking Riggers, Steel Erectors to join the team at General Rigging Company Pty Ltd in Darwin, NT.
Experienced riggers preferred, but would also encourage applicants with construction experience, roof hands, labourers, school leavers, those keen to learn current skills to apply
Current projects include infrastructure on defence bases and various commercial sites around Darwin.
Duties will include;
Assemble and install of structural steel.
Operation of access equipment, boomlifts and sizalifts.
Dogging/Rigging, working with cranes
What we're looking for
Experience in rigging and steel erection would be an advantage.
Tickets in rigging, high risk work licence, access machines EWPs.
Current drivers licence and transport.
Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
A police check is required to get a DCAT (base pass) to work on defence sites.
