Maincrew is a WA-owned labour hire company placing qualified HD Fitters and Mobile Plant Mechanics into mining and civil work — surface and underground, shutdowns through to ongoing rosters. Whether you want a steady roster on our books or you run your own show on an ABN, we've got options.

Locations: WA-wide — FIFO, DIDO and metro. Surface and underground sites, field service, workshop and planned shutdowns.

Surface fleets — haul trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, excavators, drill rigs, water carts and ancillary plant. Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi or Liebherr experience highly regarded.

Underground fleets — haul trucks, LHDs and boggers, jumbos, production and development drills, charge-up units, ITCs, agitators and shotcrete plant, UG light vehicles. Sandvik, Epiroc, Caterpillar or Normet experience highly regarded.

What We're Looking For
Trade-qualified HD Fitter or Mobile Plant Mechanic (Australian-recognised)




Proven mining, civil or heavy mobile plant maintenance experience
Robust mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding
Current tickets, HRWL where required, Australian driver's licence and working rights
Safety-first approach, able to work with limited supervision
Willing to travel and complete 12-hour shifts in remote conditions
Able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A; screen

Underground applicants need recent underground experience and the applicable site and state UG requirements. HR licence, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry and current mine-site inductions highly regarded. Recent experience with Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, Roy Hill, Newmont, Northern Star, Gold Fields or Mineral Resources is a plus.
