task and duities
Electrical work – batteries, alternators, starters, lights, sensors, wiring faults
Use diagnostic equipment – OBD scanners, multimeters, manufacturer software
Carry out logbook and general vehicle servicing
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in wide range of vehicles
Perform advance fault repairs with brake, suspension, steering and cooling system repairs
Carry out engine and driveline repairs
Use diagnostic scan tools to accurately identify faults and repair
Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests
Complete repair orders and service documentation
Maintain a clean, protected and organized workshop
Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards




follow workplace health and safety procedures
perform timing belt/chain replacement

Qualification and experience
Relevant experience working as motor mechanic or certification
Robust knowledge of electrical, transmission, braking systems and suspension.
Good communication skills and organisational skills
Current Australian driver license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46.00 – $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 48.0 per week
