We're looking for a registered nurse (RN) or enrolled nurse (EN) to join our team at Mohs Surgery and Dermatology, Potts Point, based in St Luke's Clinic. You will be working in an setting that is dedicated to ensuring that patients receive the highest level of patient care in a professional and comfortable environment. You will be our ambassador of these values and will continue to develop and nurture this culture within the team.
Key responsibilities
Assist with wound care, surgical setup, and procedures
Provide post-operative care (e.g. suture removal, dressing changes)
Patient education
Assist in pre-consultation patient care management
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
Sterilize reusable medical instruments
Administer light-based and therapeutic skin treatments (full training provided)
Metvix application and administer PDT (photodynamic therapy) treatments (full training provided)
Knowledge and maintenance of Cold Chain procedure
Manage medical consumables and stock levels
About you
AHPRA-registered EN or RN
Professional, reliable,
and well-presented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Patient-focused with a compassionate approach
Passionate, energetic, results-focused and a 'can do' attitude
Committed to a high level of integrity and skilled standards
A proactive problem solver who takes initiative and works well in a team
A rapid learner with the ability to absorb recent information about procedures and processes
Effective time management and organisational skills
Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
