Formwork Carpenter – Residential Detail Construction

Stratonic Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based concrete and formwork construction company with experience across residential, multi-level, and Class 2 projects. We're looking for two Formwork Carpenters with skills and experience in residential detail work to join our growing team.

About the Role

You'll be working across a range of residential projects — from custom homes with basements and complex framing to standard slab-on-ground builds — delivering accurate, high-quality formwork that meets structural and architectural drawings. You'll be a visible representative of Stratonic on-site, so how you carry yourself with clients, neighbours, and other trades matters as much as the work itself.

What You'll Be Doing
Setting out and constructing formwork for footings, slabs, walls, columns, and stairs
Reading and working accurately from structural and architectural drawings
Handling residential detail work — bay windows, splayed walls, curved formwork, step-downs, and other non-standard geometry
Working closely with site supervisors and other trades, as part of a small,



close-knit team
Representing Stratonic professionally at all times — presentable, punctual, and respectful on client sites
Ensuring all work meets relevant Australian Standards
Maintaining a clean, protected, and compliant work site

What We're Looking For
At least 1 year experience as a formwork carpenter, ideally on residential/detail-heavy projects
Ability to interpret detailed structural/architectural drawings
A skilled attitude — reliable, well-presented, and a genuine team player who communicates well and supports the team
Own tools and reliable transport
White Card (mandatory)
Trade qualification highly regarded
