Protech are seeking an experienced Plant Operator for an immediate start at a busy quarry operation located in Ormeau on the northern Gold Coast.

This is a hands-on role suited to an operator with demonstrated quarry or mining experience, a solid commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to consistently achieve production and performance targets.

Pre-employment medical completed including Drug and Alcohol screening

ABOUT THE ROLE
Immediate starts available
Full time hours casual Mon to Fri, with ability to work 5.5 days per week
Minimal wet weather interruptions
Ordinary hours starting from $42 per hour+ Overtime rates

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate mobile plant and equipment safely and efficiently within a quarry environment
Load, move and stockpile quarry materials in line with production requirements
Work collaboratively with site personnel to support daily operations
Conduct pre-start checks and maintain a strong focus on safety and housekeeping
Follow site procedures and contribute to a productive team environment

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport (mandatory)




Experience operating mobile plant in a quarry, mining, civil, or heavy industry environment
Experience operating Loaders (with scales), Dump Trucks, or similar earthmoving equipment highly regarded
Relevant mobile plant tickets or VOCs advantageous
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
