About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Recruiter to join our growing team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and has a strong understanding of mining, civil, construction or transport recruitment. The successful candidate can be based from either our Bundaberg or Strathpine location, with some flexibility around working arrangements.

Key responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for mining, civil, construction and transport positions
Source and attract suitable candidates through SEEK, job boards, databases and networking
Screen candidates and conduct telephone interviews
Coordinate interviews, medicals, drug & alcohol testing and onboarding requirements
Maintain accurate candidate and compliance records
Liaise with clients, site personnel and candidates throughout the recruitment process
Prepare and advertise vacancies across relevant platforms
Build and maintain a strong candidate database




Monitor candidate availability and suitability for upcoming projects
Assist with onboarding and mobilisation requirements

About you
Previous experience in recruitment, preferably within mining, civil, construction or transport
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
The ability to manage multiple vacancies and candidates simultaneously
Experience using SEEK and recruitment databases
Strong attention to detail
A professional and proactive approach
The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Current Australian working rights
