Key responsibilities
Assisting butchers with daily meat preparation
Portioning, trimming and preparing products for retail and wholesale customers
Serving customers and providing outstanding old-school service
Preparing value-added and ready-to-cook products
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Learning traditional and modern butchery techniques
Helping with stock preparation and general shop operations
About you
Has experience working as a chef or cook
Confident with knives and food preparation
Strong understanding of meat and quality produce
Enjoys dealing with customers
Reliable, organised and willing to learn
Takes pride in their work
Wants to build a long-term career outside of traditional restaurant kitchens
Previous butchery experience is not required
