Role Description The Associate Dentist role is a part-time, on-site position based in the Greater Perth Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosing oral health conditions, and performing a range of general dental treatments such as restorations, preventive care, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic procedures. The role involves developing treatment plans, educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive strategies, and ensuring high standards of infection control and patient safety.
The Associate
Dentist will collaborate with the clinical and support team, contribute to a positive patient experience,
and participate in ongoing career development to stay current with best practices in dentistry.
Qualifications
Dental degree (e.g., BDS, DDS, or equivalent) and current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant dental board in Australia.
Experience in general dentistry, including examinations, restorative treatments, preventive care, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic procedures.
Robust clinical judgment, attention to detail, and commitment to evidence-based practice and high-quality patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients of diverse backgrounds and collaborating with a multidisciplinary dental team.
Proficiency in using up-to-date dental equipment and digital clinical systems; familiarity with infection control protocols and safety standards.
Ability to manage time effectively, work efficiently in a busy clinical environment, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Willingness to participate in continuing career development and stay updated with advances in dental techniques and technologies.
Prior experience in a community or family-focused dental practice in the Greater Perth Area or similar setting is an advantage.
