The Role
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of construction and commercial contracts
Supporting tender processes and bid documentation from a legal and commercial perspective
Advising on project risk allocation, contract administration, variations, claims, and disputes
Partnering closely with commercial teams, and senior leadership to deliver commercially sound legal outcomes
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a talented construction/infrastructure lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ PAE . You will have relevant construction experience at a well regarded law firm or similar in-house role. In addition, you will have:
Experience in drafting and negotiating key construction and commercial contracts
An ability to understand the bigger picture and to collaborate effectively with various functions of the business
Quality training (either in private practice or in-house)
An ability to provide pragmatic and timely legal advice within a complex commercial and operational setting
Clear and persuasive written and spoken communication skills
Negotiation and drafting skills
