Accounts Payable Officer
Sydney | Full time | Construction / Electrical ServicesWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established business operating within the electrical and engineering services sector.
This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable qualified to join a supportive finance team and work within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

About the role:
Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
Supplier statement reconciliations and responding to supplier queries
Preparing and processing payment runs
Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations




Maintaining accurate supplier records and ensuring invoices are correctly coded
Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers and project teams
Providing general support to the wider Finance team as required

About you:
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position
Experience within construction, engineering, electrical services or a project-based environment (required)
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
The ability to manage high volumes and competing deadlines
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Valuable Excel and general systems skills
Experience with an ERP/accounting system
