This opportunity sits within a well capitalised private family office, operating independently from a broader global corporate group.

The office manages private capital investments and requires a hands on Compliance Officer to support and strengthen its Australian financial services framework.

You will work closely with senior leadership in a high trust environment, with clear accountability for compliance oversight across the investment structure.

The Focus Of The Role

n

Develop and enhance the Compliance Plan, policies and procedures
n
Deliver the Compliance Monitoring Program and Board reporting
n
Manage regulatory breach reporting and ASIC notifications
n
Maintain conflicts of interest registers and AR oversight
n
Support AML CTF obligations, IDR processes, and regulatory compliance
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
3 plus years experience in compliance or risk within Australian financial services
n
Robust knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASIC expectations
n
Experience supporting an AFSL environment, ideally within managed funds
n
Ability to translate legislation into practical controls
n
Robust communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
n
