Recycling Yard Team Member / Yard All Rounder

Your new role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will safely operate machinery.

Your role will include but not be limited to:
Operate equipment, including forklift and excavators (where licensed)
Ensure customers receive a high level of service
Grading and sorting materials
Demonstrating personal responsibility for and commitment to OH&S; policies and procedures

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have:
Ability to work independently
A can-do attitude, you will be open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills
Excellent attendance, reliability and attention to detail
Must have own transport as there is not public transport

It’s an added advantage but not essential if you have:
Previous knowledge and understanding of scrap metal processing
Forklift (LF) license (or a willingness to learn)
Excavators Licenses

In return, we offer:
Consistent shift Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm and overtime when required




On the job training, with certified tickets and opportunities for progression
Upgrading to Full Time to the right person
