About the role
Are you a Pharmacy student looking to gain valuable experience in a hospital pharmacy setting?
Join our dedicated and innovative Pharmacy team at University Hospital Geelong and gain practical experience in a supportive teaching hospital environment.
This is a varied, challenging and rewarding opportunity to develop your skills while supporting the delivery of protected and timely pharmacy services.
Key responsibilities
Support the dispensary team to provide secure and timely medication supply
Assist with outpatient, discharge and inpatient medication orders
Respond to pharmacy enquiries from patients and Barwon Health staff
Assist with medication distribution, stock management and routine pharmacy duties
Complete all work accurately and in accordance with Barwon Health policies and procedures
About you
Currently studying a Bachelor or Masters Pharmacy degree at a recognised university
Effective and courteous communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong attention to accuracy and detail
Self-directed learning ability
