About the Opportunity
Based in Henderson the
Maintenance Engineer
will be responsible for developing and optimising maintenance strategies for complex maritime and defence assets using Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), and Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) methodologies.
The role delivers maintenance plans, technical documentation, resource analyses, and engineering assessments that improve asset availability, reliability, and life-cycle cost performance.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Maintenance Engineer supports maintenance delivery, engineering change activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe and effective operational outcomes.

What's Involved
Develop maintenance strategies and task requirements using RCM and FMECA methodologies.
Define maintenance task resources, skill levels, frequencies, and labour hour estimates.
Produce ILS deliverables,



including maintenance plans, technical manuals, work instructions, and analysis reports.
Conduct reliability, logistics support, spares, and maintenance requirements analysis.
Evaluate maintenance resource requirements and recommend optimal personnel, equipment, and support locations.
Apply engineering judgement to improve asset availability, reliability, and life-cycle cost outcomes.
Develop maintenance planning and scheduling documentation to support maintenance delivery.
Prepare maintenance procedures and technical documentation in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Support Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) assessment and implementation activities.
Prepare and submit CDRL deliverables in accordance with project and client requirements.
Conduct maintenance investigations and recommend solutions to improve reliability and maintainability.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support ILS objectives and project outcomes.
You'll Need
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent qualification
3+ years relevant experience in maintenance engineering
Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support Principles
Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
